I'll jump in here. I would not try to light a 4X4 tent with fluorescent. My first grow box was 2X1.5X3 ft tall,,I had 12 100w CFLs in there that produced 20,000 lumons of light.
I grew some very nice autos in there,, but you would not be able to do the same in a 4x4 tent even with 12 100w cfls. I know you didn't say CFLs but that would be the best option. If you have the $$$$ for it, I would recommend COB 50w LEDs X 5-6 for that tent. If you don't have the $$$$ I would go with a much smaller tent if you still want to use CFLs. Good luck with that.
