HELP! Lighting screw up! What do I do!

Hi all

Long story short, KASA WiFi Smart Plugs are absolute shit.. it disconnected from my WiFi network and apparently once that happens it no longer sticks to its set schedule.

So my lights that were to shut off at 7AM today, weren't discovered as still on until 2PM.

Normally they turn back on at 7PM..

So do I..

A. Just shut the light off from 2PM-7PM and resume 7AM-7PM 12/12 lighting as usual per tomorrow, but give them only the 5h of darkness today

B. Give them the full 12h from 2PM until 2AM, then start dialing it back an hour daily (1AM tomorrow, 12AM day after) until I'm back at 7AM-7PM schedule?

I would do option A, has happen to me before and I did not see it as an issue.

It’s my understanding the 12 hours of continuous darkness is the most important part of it. What did you decide to do?
