I got my seeds from southern Oregon seeds. My first grow attempt, ever. One plant, one pot, 2' X 2' X 5' home made grow box. Question is ..... How many lights/ lumens am I looking to provide for ONE plant ? And " nutes "? What soil mix should I be using? I'm going to use a 3 gallon pot for seed sprouting to harvest. Any help with nutes? I would start them in a much smaller pot I use root riots and plant them when the roots show then I put them in a 1 gallon pot for a couple of week until they go in their 5 gallon pot to finish in. The reason for doing this is watering when a plant is small they dont drink alot of water I start mine out with about a half pint this lasts them for 2 or 3 days then a little more as they get bigger . when you put them in a big pot and water them they tend to sit in water they cant drink and weed likes to get soaked then dry out. I have found that measuring my water going in I know how long it will last and can get them on a 2 waterings per week

any soil mix that is well airated will work I use promix when I use a potting soil. right now I grow in a coco/perlite mix I find I can control my nutes better than when I used potting soil but when I grow outside I still use promix. I use ageoldorganic nutes they are cheep enough and they work fantastic everything we do is pretty much what you feel good with the idea is to give our girls the best opportunity to reach their best potential.
