I dont know if anyone has tried it but i was wondering if you can trick plants into a 6 on 6 off with the lights instead of a 12 - 12 timing? grow twice as fat AND FASTER?

No. maybe you're thinking of GLR? The Gas Lantern Routine uses a light schedule of 5.5 on 1 off 5.5 on. I tried it once. I think I prolly posted about it. It sucked. The root development was pathetic and I would not do it again. 18/6 is my preferred schedule for veg with photo fems and most often use the 12/12 for flowering but also have used a 11/13 and 10/14 to help control the stretch.
