Light schedule for seedlings

Are seedlings ok with an 18/6 light cycle under a 6200k fluorescent grow light?
I will be moving my new seedlings into my tent and want to simply connect my grow light to the same timer for my main tent light. Will they be ok?

I think you should be ok
I do my seedlings with 100watt CFL for18/6 and I bring them strait outdoor during may24 long weekend and I’ve never had a problem with stress or shock to the plants

Indoors I keep my seedlings lights on 24-7.
