Just a idea of what I have, I was gonna looking @ getting a light. All I have is 1 from the amazon tent kit https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 . Which when my plants got too tall I got a 4x4x80 vivosun tent so that light is kinda of lacking I believe. And its actual 200w. I do have a cheap ebay 1200w that my dad gave me but havent used it..

So my question is there a good all around LED I could get for my tent. Only looking to do maybe 3-4 plants. I may buy some autos for my next try. I just dont wanna waste $ which I have very little of, buy I also understand quality. Also ask cause you guys got the experience. Vipar is a light Ive looked at. Thanks for the advice

ViparSpectra is a good choice in my opinion, just opt for the UL certified models. I have a ViparSpectra 900W and I am very happy with it in a 3x3 grow space...my Kush just loves it!
 
I just picked up the Mars Hydro TSW 2000, 307 actual watts, under $175 across the counter, so far the girls (and boys) luv it!

swap it for a V600 if you can...they do have a good return policy. The V600 has UL certification and is a newer model and is also, lighter, less expensive and is only 14W difference. Remember if the light is on for 12 hours per day or more you want something safe!!!
 
V600 had nothing but complaints with the switches. Par600'great reviews. Let me ask, What setup are you running?. Maybe I'll check it out.

I have the Vipar TC1350 and I’m happy with it so far but I’m only 2 weeks into flowering. Has a good footprint for my 4x4 tent.
 
Dieselgrower on a question about lights if you get 14 responses, you’ll have 14 different recommendations and likely, most are good. Once you make your selection the next consideration is plant training. You can do a lot to minimize height and maximize yield far beyond what you might think. My last crop had to live with fair amounts of experimental techniques that are readily out there to read up on and use only, I’ve not used them until then

One of my best results came from spreading the plant as wide as I could to keep the main colas out in free space almost as if it looked like 3 foot wide plant but between this spread, supercropping and LST these plants had a dry yield of over 1lb each without being more than 40” tall. I also used over 40 1/4” dowels stuck in my soil bag to push the stems out towards the tent walls. That brings adequate light to the core of the plant. So-so lights get deeper penetration...great lights really do a job down in there.

the beauty of a tall tent is options.... lights have less limits, room for ventilation and working space above the canopy. With 6 plants in a 4x4x8 room, my yield was as good as having 12. And, 6 was very tight but fantastic.

Complaints from who? Online complaints? anyone who trusts online complaints or kudos (especially Anonymous ones) should be wary of the outcomes. Believe it or not a lot of the so called reviews online are stuffed, meaning either one or more persons keep posting multiple reviews.

Complaints and praise should be looked at objectively and the comparisons should be reviewed over a number of different sources not just one website.

Having said this I personally use the R900W and have had great success thus far...it is one of the units that has certified safety testing.

Dieselgrower she wrote that article a year or two ago. The V600 is a newer model and has been safety tested and certified. Unfortunately Nebula doesn't look at safety but whether or not the lights actually perform well. She also gets a commission for linking to Amazon products. Why not get the model that has been properly safety tested? The V600 is also less expensive but if you can afford the PAR600 why not go one further...for an additional $30 you can get the R900W (UL Certified) which is what i have and it's great.
 
Sorry cannatom they were all harvested. Waiting now for my lemon trees to produce lemons under 315LEC but I did post a few ginormous buds in the time to show your grow thread. They were on a scale showing 590g for a single cola
 
Farmall That’s impressive. I’m assuming that’s wet weight. I was thinking about putting a trellis against the side wall and growing some beans. Next time I’m going to squeeze in a tomato plant.
 
Correct ...wet, but they dried very nicely as well and that black cherry was a very successful strain for me. Over 3 lbs dry and their buds are amazingly dense. No air spaces and difficult to trim well
 
I've found that this technique yields the most if I train the canopy to maximize the footprint your fixture produces. Farmall like myself have found that we can design and build a fixture that FITS our grow space. It makes setting up an efficient grow space much easier.
