HELP! Light question

My MH bulb shit the bed sometime between last night and when I got home from work today. I just bought a new bulb a couple weeks ago, so I wasn't too happy to see a dark tent. I put an HPS bulb in there and turned it down to 250W, I also put a 200W 6400k LED in there. I have a few clones that have been in solo cups for just under a week, and 1 plant ready for flowering. Should that be ok for the young clones?

Yes... HPS can work for veg. They just get a bitch stretchy due to all the red light.

Another light question. After a couple of customs stings, and a cricket attack I finally have enough (6) plants to make it economically viable to fire up my CMH. I have it set up in the basement for a winter grow. We keep our cat in the basement during the night because as most cats do they are into everything. Should I buy sun glasses for the cat?

The cat apparently has not read the warning label, and should not be in the grow room for more than a few minutes. I will have to put up a door between the pet room, and the boiler/ temp grow room. I prefer plants to animals. They are always far less trouble.
