Light leaks

Good question! A full moon on a clear night only nets up to 1 lux worth of moonlight (unless it's a supermoon). Moonlight just isn't that strong, though it looks a lot stronger by contrast when the sun isn't out to steal its thunder. Light leaks from indoor lighting (even weak lights) can be magnitudes stronger than the moon since they're close, so it's easier for indoor lighting to make your plants angry.
Thanks Sirius. I discovered a couple of small light leaks in my set up that I fixed today. My AK-48 just finished week two of light switch but hasn't stretched yet. I do see pistils on bud sites. I didn't keep detailed notes from last AK grow but almost ran out of head room from that stretch so I tweaked my set up to allow more height. Now just anxious to get on with this stretch but so far haven't needed to raise lights at all...

Your AK-48 has some of the same sativa strains as my Moby Dick CBD and I had a heck of a time getting her to flower and then the stretch went crazy. check out what I had to do.

Man. Found small light leak in grow box today and have made repairs. Not sure if that is affecting flower or not. Same strain as last grow but can't remember how long that one took to start strech after light switch. It was very easy to grow and I wonder how stable and consistent newer strains are. AK-48 does have some sativa but hope I don't run into same problem you had! I made tweaks to my grow box to add height because last grow damn near topped out like yours!
