Light Issue or Heat Issue?

Long time no see everybody! :) Came home last night to a wilted plant with some of the large fan leaves turned up on the edges & rusty brown specks on them. It's the only one in my grow area to do this. It's in a 5 gal. bucket, bubbleponics, ph is perfect, have new lec light & had gotten it down to around 16 inches above the tops but raised it a little last night and moved said plant to the edge of lec coverage so it's partly under a 300 watt led that I'm using for side lighting. My temps get up to 85-89 during the hottest part of the day but I have several fans on them all the time. I think this is from the light. What do y'all think?

Is that ambient heat or radiant heat? If your ambient air temperature is 85-89 and you don't have Co2 enrichment I'd get that temp down if possible. Do you need the LED as well as the LEC?

Radiant...right at the top of the buckets. It doesn't always get that hot but outside temps have been in the 80s here already so it has gotten over 85 in grow room a few times. I just put a small window ac in to stop that.

The led I shouldn't have said side lighting...what I meant was it's extending my coverage because I have too many plants for the lec(3x3). I have some seedlings under the lec & they're kinda leaning towards it a little so I didn't want to move it too high.

I had been watching for that to happen since I was pushing the light/heat limit but damn it happened quick with the brown specks all over too. This poor girl already had a little root rot that I battled & won & now I fried her up a little too. She's having a hard life

Used a magnifier to zoom in on the white things & if it's bugs I have no idea what kind they are. There are no identifiable body parts & they're shaped kinda randomly like flecks of paint or dust but I'm still new at this & have not had any experience with bugs on my plants so I'm clueless.
From researching online it seems like it could be some kind of mites judging from the damage & upturned edges on leaves. Didn't find any white things on underside of leaves, only on top.
