I remember reading something, somewhere, about adding in more blue spectrum the last week or two. Cant remember where I read it or why they did it (Terps or trichome production I think?)

MH has more light available in the blue spectrum. This contains UV light which is thought to be responsible for the plants THC production.
So yes, more blue in the last 2-3 weeks can produce higher THC loaded flowers.
Might also good to note that UV light has the ability to stunt growth, so more resin can come at the cost of lower yields.

Yes, you got the idea right. Contact the munfacrurer of the bulb for best results. For example the agro max UV 2ft bulb in a t5HO fixture will be best used in the last 2-3 weeks of flower at 10-12†away from the canopy. It should turned on for 15 min then off again for 2 hour cycles during the lights on period, according to the manufacturer of that specific bulb.
