Light cycle in the first few days that suits auto and photoperiod too.

Hi, I've bought a Sour Diesel Auto seed from OSSC and it's dead so I've started germinating the Original Sensible Cheese Seed that they sent me. I could already see the taproot when I realised I have no idea if it's auto or not (the confirmation email says it is, but that's the only source saying it so I have some doubts). I've contacted the support but I don't think they'll reply until tuesday, and I'm looking for a light cycle that would suit the plant in the first few days until I get to know if it's auto or not. I hope you can help.
 
Start it out on 18/6. Autos love 18/6 all the way through. If is an auto it will start flowering in about a month. If it a photo period it will veg till it gets 12 hours dark a day. Good luck
 
18/6 20/4 24/0. Any of those that you would like. As long as it gets at least 18 hours of light.
 
I agree with the others, you generally start both autos and photoperiods plants under 18-24 hours of light. Luckily both types of plants have very similar care for the first 3-4 weeks :)
 
what happened to the sour diesel. For that reason I always start extras I grow 4 plants at a time but I start 6 seeds one extra, one mother, and four to bloom . I just had a big bomb give up the ghost about 4 weeks into veg in fact I took a clone from it when I topped it and it died to so sometimes for reasons I can't explain they just die good luck
 
I start all seeds at 24/0- as the new seedling will seek light and you want it on for at least, the first 12 hours after it breaks ground- to keep stretching in check.

Some advocate using 24/0 until the 3rd node has developed, but I have not been able to confirm the bases of this idea.
Once a seed has it's first set of leaves (single) I will change the light to 20/4- This is great for both auto's and photoperiod seedlings.
