Were the stems always this color? What soil are you using? They do look awesome.

I've run GG#4 a few times. Good producer, great quality. I will say though, it requires the most and earliest staking. Heavy tops. Mine always ran 10 weeks from the time of the flip and by week 5 they needed to be staked up.

Happy frog soil and yes the stems on gorilla glue are red. From my understanding that’s how you can tell a real gorilla glue strain. And that’s exactly right it’s the end of week four beginning of week five and the buds are being held up by fishing line.

What is your take on LED Vs HPS?

About the same really from what I can tell so far but I haven't had many grows and this is my first good one. I like the LEDs because they run cooler and you don't need a lot for exhaust, plus they're full spectrum so the ladies are getting the light they need. HPS runs a bit hot and you need a little stronger exhaust to get the heat out, but growth seems a bit faster so I should get higher yields. Doing an experiment with it since it's the first time doing it side by side. I was going to rotate them out so they could spend a couple weeks at a time under each to even it out. I was thinking about it last night and I'm going to leave them so I can see the difference. I have some under straight HPS, some under straight LED and some in the middle with both. Should be interesting to see. I have a post on here with my grow and I'll be updating every couple weeks if you're interested in that.

I have week six pics coming tomorrow, 2 day I did a big trim on my plants. There going to look a bit bare, getting them ready for the light flip. I also didn't do any training on these plants. Going for the huge single stem buds with some site sites. Can't wait when they double in size. Wish I could tell what I am experimenting with. Every time I do my post gets deleted. MGO!
