Lemon juice instead of pH down

Has any ever used lemon juice to lower the PH. I use it in my fish tank all the time but never on plants?

Hey 420, yeah I've used it before, all i use now is EarthJuice crystals, it's lots easier, than squeezing a Lemon.
But that Lemon juice will get you got of a bind.

A recommendation from Mandala seeds is to use cheap vinegar. He warns against pH Up, and pH Down. "Always adjust the pH: 6,2 to 6,5 for soil cultivation; pH 5.5-6.0 for hydroponics (depending on substrate and drain values). I have used pH Down without a problem as my local water supply is alkaline. However he is a professional, and i toopid.

Yes indeed, the up-down stuff ain't no good for your bacteria, an microbes, in your soil, but EarthJuice is organic, an don't hurt anything.

Epson salt and garden lime will do the trick . You can get both at Walmart in the garden section .
