Visiting in Washington and didn't feel like bringing my big jar with me to the airport, but didn't like the idea of the prices they charge at dispensaries either. So its been a couple days no weed! Wife said just go to a pot shop and get some. Me: no way am I paying those stupid ass prices. Well we had to go to the grocery store, when I got out of the car I found $40 ! I looked around to see someone searching for the money...noone around anywhere ! COOL ! I'm going SHOPPING ! LOL

So stopped in a dispensary (which are everywhere even in this little town I'm in) this morning and find out its big sale Friday !

Got a $2 pre roll %27 thc 1g. (Smoking it now)
another big preroll with hash its like %30 thc

I had a great conversation with the in-house cbd specialist, got some cbd oil fort my wife to try.

This doobie the best 2 bucks I've spent lmao!

Laying in a field of grass 4' tall smoking grass hahaha.

Haha 2$ isn't bad at all... Seattle is more expensive but I can get a discount with medical too. I live near Olympia and 3.5g goes for 30$ again not bad 10% off with medical no taxes. I used to pay 50$ in CA for that don't know what it it's now though. In Vegas they want 60$ for 3.5g cheapest preroll is 12$. 90$ for concentrate I was like these people must be high af to charge that. The thing is they were busy and people were eating it up.
I'm glad I don't have to pay for it anymore. 😉
 
in the 80's we paid ridiculous prices for shit weed. I mean stupid prices, like $20 a gram. I'd happily pay dispensary prices if I had one and didn't grow. Those deals can't be beat
 
Yeah taxes are crazy for everything here in WA. I save being medical. But I'd rather smoke my own just as good if not better.
 
Some places have that tax included. A lot of those stores are ripping people off by taxing weed already taxed. The shelf price is the real price in the places I go.

And as for the "stupid ass prices" that they charge at dispensaries, those prices keep falling! You may have seen the articles recently about the pot glut as production in legal states exceeds demand. And as Cronk says, we used to pay a lot more for a lot worse!

No complaint there from me! The promise of millions in tax revenue was the magic key that made legal pot possible. (And remember that governments have been taxing alcohol for centuries--a $15 bottle of vodka costs about a nickel to produce. The rest is mostly taxes.) Let the state have its skim! (And in any case, I grow my own. ;))

A friend of mine was just about to apply for recreational license in OR, but they have approved so many applications that they've had to put a temporary hold on accepting any new applications. The cannabis industry picks of speed!!!!!
