LEDs and new seedlings

What are the LED light needs of new seedlings? The info from my light’s mfg says their optimal height distance is 24” but I think that is referring to veg and flowering. I have 4 seedlings that are now sticking up from me starter pods in my DWC pails. One already has its first set of true leaves, the other 3 are still just opening their cotyledon leaves.
I’ve included an image of their light distribution guide.

I use the top of the hand to judge distance for seedlings, if you feel the light on the back of your hand so will your seedlings. LED's are different than HID's

30" would be a good start, once they sprout they will grow into the light.
At about the 3rd node move to 24" from the canopy until flower.

Hi FatBoy40. I had read about the “back of the hand” measuring method, but I am under the impression that the specified technique was for people using HPS (and similar) lights. I can hold my hand under my led light at as little as 12” to feel the heat from it. But I worry that sensing the heat from LEDs might not be accurate enough.

I used my light meter and measured 14000 lux at 24”. I don’t know if that is too blinding bright to the little ladies.

I’m at about that height now. I’ll leave them be at that height.

Should I be using both veg/flower setting or just the veg setting for these? (I have both on at the moment)

If it’s one light in the tent I use both settings,
if however there are multiple lights in the tent I use grow setting only- on the plants under it, assuming other lights are on full spectrum.
