What brand and true watt draw from the wall? Also what stage is your plant in.It really makes a big difference. That said usually its 18 inches in flower. 26-36 inches vegetative. Somewhere in between for rest of grow. Manufacturer usually gives you good info about haw far to keep plants in different stages. Listen to them if you haven't lost the info.
