Led wattage

Is it better to veg from start to flower with a lower watt led light then up the watts with a higher watt led to use for blooming?

Why wouldn't you just use the higher Watt light all the way through? Just keep it a little higher for seedlings and it will be fine

Thats why i wasnt sure. Why make 140w, 200, 300w lights an make 500, 600, 800, 1000, 1200, 2000.? Is it jus for bigger growing areas or does it have diff effects during the growing process with that higher intensity bright higher number of wattage ?

Usually people use different wattages for different size spaces. Some people like to keep the same wattage but have more coverage so they buy a couple smaller ones. Others buy one big light and call it a day, but the good ones cost. Do you already have your tent, lights, etc, or are you still shopping? What size space are you going to grow in? I'm actually upgrading all my lights to CMH (I have 3 bigger tents) and setting the LEDs off to the side for a while. I have the cheaper LEDs, 600W and 1200W versions. They work decent but won't bulk up the buds as much as I would like. Been looking at the CMH lights for a little while now and finally decided to get one. Fairly cheap too, only came to $167 USD on eBay and came with everything (pictures). Not to mention it's a more natural light so no distorted colors and you can see everything so much clearer. In the picture that light is on the left, there's a 600W HPS on the side that's yellow and I still have 2 LEDs in the middle. GWE has a decent page on CMH lights but I found one that has a little more information and breaks it down a bit.

Im using a 5' x 5' x6.5' an runnin an ac infinity t6 air intake an 6" filter.. still getting a few things ready before i start but hope to put 7 to 9 or10 plants in my space. Jus trying to figure witch lights to run
