LEC 315 Lights

Hi everybody! I was wondering if any of you out there have experience growing with the LEC lights? I just bought a pair of LEC 315s due to the advice of my local hydroponic gurus. They tell me that they are the most efficient lights and use less electricity. I just started using them and they seem really bright without all the heat that a HP sodium produces. Interested in hearing your comments. Thanks as usual! ColaDog

After talking to Sammy I almost got one 2 weeks ago ,but my damned ole 85 bronco2 Water pump went out an i had to get it fixed first , come the first of the month I will be getting one though .Like you I heard they are the ticket. But some will say otherwise. I don't care I'm getting one I'm rich what the hell ,just kidding bout the rich part. What kind did you get Coladog?

I have two 300W LED's and one 315 CMH (LEC). Two grow areas. Its my first grow with the CMH and the girls seem to love it. Appears to be very penetrating. Which is just an observation.
Under it the girl is 36" tall at Week 8 (mid flower). I'm saving up for another CMH. The first one was $200 at my hydro place, on sale. The owner's been growing indoors since the '80's and highly recommends them.

The 💣 what else can I say. I'll be looking into a third by the end of the year absolutely love them. I bought the Phantom 315 LEC paid about 360.

That's a bargain for that light at least right now with the prices being with are. What brand of bulb did you get with it was it Phillips?

Jeg ,there's some on eBay called Illuminati for 200 bucks with a 3 year warranty and free shipping, you get to pick which bulb you want to come with it , I was gonna get a phantom but damn man that's a big difference in price to me ,I ain't rich ,I guess you get what you pay for though , all i know is I'm getting one the first of the month ,confused or not. Sammy says there the bomb ,they take no prisoners an looking at his grow ,I believe it.they don't get as hot, and don't use much "lectwisity ""as they say ,haha.

No idea about autos will find out next run but it does cover my tent well with the balast facing the door i had it running 90 deg until late I got a light meter and found out it had better coverage the other way

I have no idea I didn't know much about anything when I started this grow. led lights confused me and the grow shop guy was trying to sell me a 600 dollar 315 cmh.so I just got the 1 I have because i thought 315 cheep ok lets see what it does. it came with a bulb 3200k probably some China crap thing it seems to be working in have no idea tho I could just be making popcorn I won't know for another month.

Your doing a good job with those cfls to. I want to see the difference between 315s an that cheap led I got , I know it's a big difference to , but I ain't gonna knock that cheap led though cause its done a good job ,my plant has got some hard ass buds ,but all i read every where bout those 315s is that they are awesome.

I made the jump from LED to CMH a couple of months ago now and I couldn't be happier dudes, my plants much prefer it to the LED, although it was a jump up in power as I was running low watt LED's, but still my new plants are loving the CMH, I would recommend them to anyone........I got a maxibright with a Philips argo(red) bulb :D

I currently use a Hydro Grow 336x Pro LED but I'm considering a 630W CMH. My LED seems too powerful, I'm getting light burns from 36".

I was thinking of putting one 3100k and one 4200k bulb.
