Leaves curling and turning brown

I am new too growing under lights. I have three seedlings I am experimenting with. I have LED bulbs. I noticed one plant with leaves curling before transplant. Just transplanted a few days ago and problem got worse fast. I am assuming the lights are to close. The medium is dirt mixed with cinder and dry leaves and I am using Juice from my bucket of kitchen scrapes for nutrients along with RO water. . I have really just thrown this together. I have raised the lights figuring they are to close. Any advice would be appreciated.

How close was your light and what kind/watts is it?

I am using 12 watt LED. I had the lights 10" above seedlings. I moved the lights up 6". Only one of the three are affected significantly. The otherr two are doing well possibly showing a little dehydration. Lights are on 24/7.

you aren't using nutrients yet are you? when leaves curl up , could be root rot, over watering, wind burn, fungus gnat problem?
