Leaves are turning yellow and droopy from the bottom and are getting burnt/rust spots

Two weeks ago: the plant was getting rust/brown spots on the middle leaves and a few of the older leaves were getting yellow, first thoughts could be a light issue. More soil was added at the bottom of the pot to get bring the plant higher to the lights.

One week ago: More leaves were getting yellow. The leaves were removed. Suspected the problem could be lack of nutrients since due to the use of potting mix suitable for indoor plants. The package says that it has nutrients for 6 months and releases it slowly - assumed this would be fine for the whole cycle. Fertilizer (the package doesn't say the amount of NPK but that says it's rich in NPK) was then used to address this. 10 sprays (suitable for small plants) applied with a watering can.

2 days later: No good results. More yellowing.
Transplanted to a fabric container in case the roots were not getting enough oxygen and at the same time applied another 10 sprays of the fertilizer.

Perhaps this could be due to overwatering, but why the top of the canopy is not droopy? or Nitrogen Deficiency or Nutrients Burn now

The soil is likely your issue, it has slow release nutes which is a bad thing. What is the PH? What are you doing for chloramine/chlorine in the tap water? What is the PH of the water? I would loose anything that does not tell you the amounts of NPK (unless its home made)

Thanks. The water PH is around 7.25 - 7.5, same for the soil.

Ph is off and soil is not good for cannabis. Next grow get some cannabis friendly soil and keep ph between 6.0 and 7.0.

Agreed.
I've run into issues using 'potting soil' before.
It has way too much wood chips for a good mix.

PH the water to 6.0-6.2 until the PH comes down, that will help some.
