It's normal for it to be a little lighter right in the middle of the "star" of new growth, especially some strains, but it's not normal for the new growth to be actually yellow.
Just as an example, three of these seedlings are normal, but the one in the upper right has too much yellowing (in this case it was caused by the pH being way too low).
