Leaf EDGES curling DOWN? Not bear claw>

I have, in 'average soil' 1 Pure Power Plant sativa dom. mother about 6 weeks old. GH Flora series nutes 1/2 strength, 5 gal. pot, 60W 'Phillips Grow Light' bulb, feed/water every other day.
Her edges/sides of the leaves are curling down but not with bear claw tips, and the leaves are dark green. I have researched this site and others and found here that it could be a nitrogen toxicity. That maybe it would be best to cut my nitrogen in 1/2. even though I see no burn on the leaf tips. Also, not water/feed so much.
I struggled with a high PH and hard water but now plan on flushing with distilled water, to clean out the crap water and high PPM, I'm now switching to using distilled water only. But was wondering if you guys could help with other ways of recovering her since there is not much info out there regarding this problem. I guess I'm hoping for your experience, anything would be appreciated.
 
I had a nitrogen toxicity in my last grow. All that I could do was flush, then cut way back on the nitrogen for the rest of the grow for her. Took about a week but she did recover.

Could use some pics.

I agree that it could be nitrogen toxicity, but some photos would help to determine if it was the problem .
 
Bear claw is a symptom of nitrogen toxicity. Sounds like overwatering. Not necessarily too much water at a time but too often. Should water every 3-5 days. Top inch or so of soil should be dry before watering. Make sure you have good drainage as well. Also after adding nutes to your water check your Ph. Optimum ph is 6.3. Ph up and ph down will help with that. Also pics help us help you. Just my opinion. Good luck! :)
 
I'm growing sativas right now and had a bout with nitrogen toxicity; sativas are super-sensitive to nutrients; I've kept my girls way below the recommended level (and eliminated the nute with too much nitrogen).
 
Hi,
I know this isn't recent, but I have a question. If the water you put in is one number, say 6.0 and your run off water is a different number say, 6.4, should you adjust your input water down to 5.6? I just put the numbers in for purposes of example. I am really trying to figure out the up and down part. Thanks!
