Leaf count

I did some searching and really have not found any information... Is there any meaning or significance to the leaf count on a plant? I'm used to the 5 to 7 count, however I have a northern lights auto that has huge 9 leaf fans.... Do different leaves do different things? Or is it just the genetics of the plant?

No significance to number of fingers. A healthy shade of green with no defects is all that matters.

It’s the most common number of fingers in big healthy fan leaves. Some have 11 or even 13 but it’s all the same

Lol...sorry didn't know someone had the name 9fingerleafs. Thanks for the answers about the numbers though...like I said, never have seen a plant with more than 7

Haha don’t you worry I don’t care. Your plant looks very healthy. Is it stretching into flowering?
