Lead wire in twist ties

Been looking for a twist tie that was flexible and cushioned. I was surprised at a panicked review just a few days ago that pointed out the wire was at least partially made of lead (or the package was contaminated in the factory?). The question is whether it is relevant to the finished product or consumption. Then I found a similar item and it showed the rear packaging and lead is called out in the California warning. Should we be concerned or is this not significant at all?

I'm not gonna chew on it or anything but if it is like the kids toys a few years back where everything was covered in lead and cadmium....count me out.

Damn warning after warning spend so much on warning wears me out reading the warning.....just use it LOL :)

Hmm, I just grab them from the nursery..never read what it was created from, 🤷‍♂️. It does have a plastic covering, that will come off on the ends, although I haven't had a split in the middle or random places. I think you're safe.

Google soft wire ties, or go to ace hardware 5 or 6 bucks. A lot of us here survived a childhood of lead paint lickin, crayon eating, running with them damn scissers,no seatbelt wearing, riding inna back of a pickup, not to mention no child proof caps and then a whole decade or two of Hold my beer and watch this shit ! We aint ascared of no stinkin lead !!
