Landscape staples for LST?

Does anyone have experience with landscape staples as a quick and dirty tool for low stress training?

I am sure they would work well. If you have cloth pots, I believe that big paper clamps are easier and more versatile.

I've used them on a grow. I only pushed them into the dirt, no mechanical fastening. The plants pulled them out of the dirt when they grew. They shaped the plant when small but didn't work for me in the end.

I’ve had the same experience as Pyrokill with pushing into the soil.
I’ve started using this system and am very happy, they also have a lot of grow tips worth reading on their site.
