L.E.P. vs led vs MH for veg?

I found some 400w l.e.ps on my local classified website for $50. I already have a 400w MH, and I'm currently running a 300w led panel for my mother's and clones. Any one have experience with the leps? Use what I have? Get another 600w led? Pick up the leps?

Seriously thinking about it. For $50 I think it should be worth it. Ive heard they were better, I was just hoping there would be more of a user base for them. The cmh lights have a fairly large following, but I'm guessing the leps haven't been embraced as widely though.

Ya sorry iv never used one but I know someone who does work at a commercial growing facility and they use hundreds of these.
