Kind Soil grow Journal

As I promised in an earlier post, I would show you how I ph my distilled water naturally. You can get a good idea from the pictures, but I will explain as well. First of all this is Menards distilled water and Menards drinking water. I like to do 12 at a time, cuz it lasts me for quite a while. First I uncap all the distilled water bottles, to settle the pH, for about 5 minutes. Then I pour out just enough to get to this notch on the gallon jug. You can see where I drew a line. I pour it into a container, and save it for my humidifier. So no water is wasted. Once I get it to this Notch, I add 1 and 1/2 tablespoons of Menards drinking water. After that, I just recap it, shake it a little bit and as you can see this is where the test settles. This particular test settled at 6.57 P.H. They will range anywhere from 6.3 to 6.8. I have never had any below or above. And as you can see, I only used about a half a bottle of drinking water.

Hey if it's working for you it works for me LOL. I got well water it's got lots of minerals but it's good I've had it tested every few years. I also let it sit mainly to get it at the room temp. Great job gags71:)

Your Maui looks great (I have one growing as well) - but - all I see is the main cola. Early on I cut off fan leaves that are blocking underneath growth - that allows those branches underneath to grow up vertically with the main cola. I just cut off 2 at a time to see how the plant responds. But it's your plant - and the color is great, nice deep green.

Hey Billy boy, this is only my second grow, I have been just trimming leaves. You'll see in the next pictures only four days older than the previous pictures, so just about three and a half weeks old now. I have way more light than I did in my first grow, and this seems to be helping, especially my older plants.

Hey Canuck147, I have been cutting off leaves every now and then over the last few days. You will see in the pics I'm about to post. It has grown quite a bit just in the last four days, and with all the lights I have now, I'm hoping that they really start to sprout. Thanks for your positivity.

Okay so I decided to do an update today. Maui is only 4 days older than my last pics (3 1/2 weeks old). I have started to trim bigger leaves off, and it seems like the bud sites lower down are starting to sprout more now. I have a lot of light on them, hopefully they will sprout quickly. I took these pics only about an hour before lights-out, so it looks like it's getting ready to sleep. But I can assure you in the morning it will be sticking straight up in happy. The next pics, I'll make sure I do in the morning. Thanks again for all the feedback..

Just wanted to give a quick update on two other plants I also have growing in Kind Soil. White Fire Alien OG, and Northern Lights. White Fire Alien OG is getting close to being ready to harvest. And Northern Lights has a ton of Bud's to work on. So far, I think doubling my lights, and the Kind Soil are going to give me at least two to three times more than my first grow.

Thanks SoOrbudgal. Yeah, it is super Frosty. I will take a picture and share it within the next couple weeks, before I harvest.

Okay, Maui is officially 4 weeks old. Here are a few pics, I have been trimming for about a week now, little bit at a time. The color is looking nice and dark green, and a lot of Bud sites popping up. Kind Soil, Please keep being kind to me.

Maui 5 Weeks old now. I like the way it looks so far, as this is my first Sativa I am growing. Always trimming a little bit at a time. I just harvested my White Fire Alien OG (Kind Soil only) over the weekend. I will post some pics later

good looking plant gags71 sure showing her sativa side. I would only trim at this point the very lower plant those leaves near soil and the center just a few. Good job and I love your pooch :)

Thanks for the info SoOrbudgal. I will take your advice, and try not to be so trim crazy. By the way Rocky says thanks and says hello😁

6 Week update. Looks healthy, nice and green. Looks like it might be a short plant..
