COCO COIR Killer A5 Haze Manifold

After considering an attempt at a manifold, reading Nebula's tutorial concerning same several times, and with a desire to try and control the plant's height this is my first attempt with HST and this process. So far so good I guess.

This plant is KIller A5 Haze by Ace Seeds. It's a sativa and is growing in a 5 gallon pot with 50/50 blend of coco/perlite and gets CX Horticulture nutrients. It is in a 2x4x7'11" tent under a HLG 350 Rspec lamp currently at 385 ppfd 24" above the canopy. Leaf temps are 77-78. Tent temps steady at 77 F during the day and 70-72 F at night. RH is steady at 56 day and night thx to an ACI humidifier venting inside the tent. Each time nutrients are mixed and added the PH is set at a different point within the range for coco 5.8 - 6.2.

I dropped a seed on 4-15-25. It soaked for 24 hrs then went into the clone tent in a starter pot with coco/perlite blend and plain filtered water for germination. It sprouted on 4-17-25. On 4-21-25 the t5 lamp was turned on in the clone tent and the sprout was fed for the first time at 1/4 recommended strength, PH 6.0 and EC .4.

I started tracking veg time on 4-24-25. She went into the final home and 2x4 tent on 4-29-25.

After the plant grew to 6 nodes. I created the manifold on 5-12-25 when I topped it per Nebula's tutorial at the 3rd node and cleaned all the growth off of the plant underneath the 3rd node. After the top she slowed for a couple days before recovery.

On 5-21-25 I topped each side of the manifold at the 3rd node and cleaned off all growth at the 2nd node on each side, leaving 8 potential bud sites.

I'm a little unsure how long to veg this girl. I know the guidelines of when to flip to the 12/12. Do they also apply when growing a manifold? Still flip at half the desire final height?

There's still a loooong ways to grow. The goal is to make regular updates.

Questions or suggestions?

Thx. That makes sense. She's taken a bit to get the manifold established. Reading between the lines it looks like when to flip is still dealers choice but it may take a couple added weeks to decide.

Looking great man, I'm interested to see what your final thoughts are on whether the extra waiting time= more yield than regular LST. 🤙🏾

I always gave 3 weeks recovery after topping. But I'm a ginger.
Interesting spot of duct tape on the cut. It might serve you better on the main stem. The cut is short which opens you up for splitting. But I'm a ginger.

Yeah, 10 days, 2 weeks 3 weeks whatever it is, I'm watching the plant following Nebula's instructions whenever its ready...you know 6 nodes and 3rd node twice and 2nd node strip it bare and...Yeah, I made the cut a bit too short. The tape is on the main stem. I'm not so much concerned about veg time I want to control the height. But are your iris's blue?

Gingers should rule the world. It's weird. Hair changes color, freckles don't fade, the eyes? That's a different story. I never knew how special I was. Special being in the 'eye' of the beholder and 'arythang...ha.

Well, I'm using a word that keeps getting me unapproved. I can't tell you what the word is or I'll get unapproved, again. But the word begins with an 'S' and ends with 'exy.'
