Kelp Meal

Are there many of you who use kelp meal as a supplement in your soil? I live just a hop, skip, and jump from the beach and have in the past just filled a bucket with what washes up on the sand. An overnight soak in fresh water and then dried in the sun and it was ready to go. Unfortunately Covid and other issues kept me from getting a supply this year so I'm looking to just purchase some this year. If you have any suggestions or products to avoid I'd appreciate any advice.

Hey crucialbunny , i dont use kelp meal but i do use anything that grows in my pond for my outdoor grows. You could always try grow'n your own..an aquarium or large bucket, get some pond plants from greenhouse or pet supply. they reproduce like crazy. Walking down to the beach sounds much better though lol

Azomite is an alternative you might try and seems to be a lot more available if I remember my research it also has more micronutrients than even kelp meal

Looks like a good product. Normally I mix my homemade meal into my initial planting mix but adding it to my regular tea feedings seems simple enough. Thanks for the link.
