Joined couple days ago, seems like a great community. Thanks to the administrators for letting me be a part of it. Just completed building a small grow room about a month ago and have the first round growing now. Tried to provide everything I could to give me optimal control over the environment , but definitely is going learning experience. Room seems to be pretty stable, hydro system is another story. Got a lot to learn on the nutes and keeping everything stable and healthy. Few more things to add to address problems as they arise but I think it's going to work great after I screw up the first couple grows. I'm excited to be able to share my success and failures with all you great folks!

Welcome. You'll find this is a great place to get some answers and learn a few tricks. Growing is such a fun hobby. Hydro is a little more technical than soil, less room for errors with nutrients, but that is a very productive route to gofer growing. Enjoy the process!

I'm likely not alone in sayin' that room is frigging awesome and just when are you going to fill us all in on what you've got going on there. First glance says you know stuff about stuff and we'd likely benefit from a little of that info.

Hey Smoklahoma...Is that 6" ducting? Are those standard collars where the duct leaves the room? I'm looking for something that will work in my tent. I can't stand hanging wires and such. That's a well put together operation. Very impressive.

Thanks We are east of the Sooners a bit. Those are standard 8 inch flanges for intake and exhaust. First flanges I bought were made for a tent I think, didn't work for what I needed. Short flange with ring that sandwiches the tent between them. Might work for you? I will do a post of the grow room build and redoos so hopefully someone won't make the same mistakes I have.
