JohnEmad grows HSO's FF Green Crack & OGKZ

Flower Day 47. Buds are getting nice sized. some cloudy trichs and frosty flowers. temps have been on the high side due to a short heat wave. 28 to 33C.
Rh is good at about 30 to 40%. Lights at 18 to 20 inches

Mantis fed -Res is steady at 5.7/5.8ph PPM 800
- FFGC has decided to get over whatever was bothering her and continues to pack on some frost and flower.
- OGKZ has bulked up and looks great. Cloudy trichs are very evident with a hint of amber. Maybe a week to 10 days and she may be ready to chop.

Remo fed - res also steady at 5.8 ph, ppm 1000.
- FFGC has the most amber of the 5 plants in the tent. very fast moving and looks great.
- OGKZ also showing alot of cloudy trichs but still has a little bit to go.

Thinking they could all be done in 10 to 14 days days. Not far from HSO's suggested times.
Then it will be chop and smoke time of course.

Last but not least is the frosty green fellow....er or girl...She will be a taking longer but hopefully worth the wait.

Another beautiful fat bunch of buds. :) How come that big ass bottom photo is so blurry reminds me of the swamp thing creeping out of the glades all covered in moss. Naw just kidding but it's to blurry.

Hey SoOrbudgal, Not sure why that picture showed up. Some glitch with the forum.
These fast flowering plants ts seem to be just as described and could be another choice for everyone's outdoor growing. They are finishing fast.👍

JohnEmad weird also i tried to see this post in my messages and it said i had to contact admin ? I just went to todays posts and commented. Thanks for the tip on the fast flowering photos. Are the heights a tad taller than a auto average say under 35" from soil to top? Real interested will purchase these from good seed seller.

The one Green crack had to be superceopped but otherwise they all stayed below 3 ft easily.
With Humbolt County so close to you it shouldn't be too difficult to get those seeds hopefully.

Cool very good thanks a bunch JohnEmad i've seen that Green crack seed somewhere else. No matter by fall more seed seller will be having them, kinda like the apple phone nowdays so many seed sellers and breeders ohh the variety anymore is head spinning:wink:

Sunday is update time for me.
Day 52 of flowering and harvest is getting close. Mainly cloudy trichs on all plants with maybe 5% amber on the FFGC on the RF side of the tent. 1 more week and most of them will be chopped.
Had to tie up at least a dozen branches to support the heavy tops. always a good sign.
The last nutes added are 3/4 strength but otherwise everything is running smooth.

Mantis fed - FFGC -has stayed healthy and is showing some nice frost. Buds are dense and sticky.
FF OGKZ - Tops have really fattened up and she is almost ready.

Remo fed - FFGC - This one shows the most amber and I cut a tester off today to dry and sample. If it's good then down she comes.
FF OGKZ - Another beautiful plant that is nearing her end.

The Bruce Banger was younger by 2 weeks but has grown real nice with a couple weeks left. Many clear trich's so the HSO plants are easily faster. My wife says this smells like skunk. Very strong.

I'm sorry about the skunky smell they can come to my house and hang out i'll take really good care of them :) Such a good farmer you are :)

thanks golfnrl and budgal..
I have packed a ton of learning and growing into a short time and it has been paying off with good grows.
No OCD here. lol.

Glad my grow has worked out well.
Will post the harvest and comments on the grow etc over the next week or two.
The sample of a smaller mid height bud of FFGC was dry enough to try. Tasted spicey yet fairly smooth and didn't hit hard all at once got much stronger over 15 minutes. Relaxed but not couchlocked.
Dense and sticky and looked nice. Time for her to get chopped. real happy with how things have gone. :)

Late report on The HSO fast Flowering Photo grow. Life has gotten much busier but I wanted to share the end of this grow.
All plants have now been harvested and I have plenty of pics to go around.
Harvested the Remo fed GC on June 24th/Day 56 a bit past hso's time frame but still ready at a quick rate. Can't believe I forgot to take pictures of the plant on harvest date. She was ready with 5% amber and looked great. Sticky and easy to trim.
June 27th day 58 of flower saw Remo fed OGKZ and Mantis fed OGKZ chopped.
Remo fed showed sticker with denser buds.

Mantis fed FFOGKZ plant was the largest of this grow with over 500 grams wet although she had big lighter more airy buds with less resin.
Will test it an a week or so.

June 30th day 61 saw Mantis fed GC and the Bruce banger cut down and trimmed to dry.
Though I had problem with keeping this plant healthy it surpassed all expectations.
The flowers were very sticky and super dense. Not a huge producer and tried to grow well past 3 ft if I had not stopped her but the quality looks great.

This was a test of new MH sp250's in a 4x4 tent using 2 different nutrients while testing HSO's Fast Flowering Green Crack and FF OGKZ.
The plants definitely finish fast and the overall quality of flower is very good with 1 exception in terms of look and feel. I have yet to test them all and will report next week on that.

The jury is out on the nutrients,
Remo is a little more difficult to mix and get used to. It grow good healthy plants and the price is good. I always have to scale back on the concentration.
Mantis buffered all in one is a snap to use but I did have to add xtra cal/mag to the coco coir for the plants. It grows well and the ph stayed balanced for the most part with slow swings up. Drawback for Mantis is the price. Even at the much reduced price given me by their friendly rep Mike I probably won't continue using it. Otherwise it grows nicely.

The MH sp250's had their first grow and they were bright and more then adequate but I need to see a bit better my next couple grows to be convinced they can do a great job in a 4x4 tent. I may add another 150 or 200 watts to better cover the entire canopy

It was a pleasure to test HSO's new cultivars and I hope I did them justice.
Thanks @HSO-Mark and everyone foe dropping by.

Finally the non HSO plant I grew to fill the tent. Bruce Banger from Seedsman was the dark green sticky monster in terms of how dark and sticky she was and is. Full of sugar leaves but saturated fully with trichomes on every part of the plant almost.

Thanks NickyChicks. Real happy with the grow. It was my return to photos and I like the flexibility they offer with ability to clone the good ones. I have several other plants on the go and when they are done I will drastically slow down. Been a wild ride in a year and a third of growing.
