Ive found managing the runoff somewhat tricky, trying to keep it around 10% (up to 20). Even though i fertigate every 12 hours, sometimes it takes more, sometimes less, to achieve runoff. Seems to be working though.

Day 24.

They need some defoliation, lol. Ive removed the occasional leaf but im not sure when the optimal time to do it, don't want to overstress them, but there are leaf areas that are a bit wet from the leaves sitting on each other. Should i just try to remove a few of the problematic fan leaves but try and keep as much foliage, or try and be a little more aggressive, particularly on the lower portion?

Also had to raise the light an inch on the Chemdoggings , despite flattening them out with LST. Still @ a little over half power (130w per board).

Day 25. Seemed thirsty this am. Needed more than usual to achieve runoff. Also upped nutes to 2.5mls/litre.

DAY 26

Did some light defoliation last night. Should I wait 1-2 weeks to try again? The Chemdogging are still pretty bushy.

You can probably take a little more after a day or two if your plant response well to what you did and they don't miss a beat your good.
Are you showing pistils?

Day 27

They were taking around 500-550mls to achieve 10-20% runoff. Now they seem to need 650-700mls.
Had to raise the lights an inch to get it back to 24" above the canopy as well.
I also bumped nute strength to 3mls/litre ( from 2.5mls/litre) on the new batch. Ill start them on that tonight.

Looking more closely, it seems the Dinamex is showing a bit. Those are pistils, correct?

4 weeks have gone by since they popped!

When is the optimal time to start bloom nutes? Some say when the 'white hairs' show ( pistils?). Others say continue veg nutes until the stretch slows ( usually in week 5-6) then switch to bloom. Nutrient company says during week 4 for autos. What do you folks think?

Those are all preflowers happening. They are close to blooming - but stay with what you are doing cuz they look great!

Nice looking grow, I am about to harvest my first Auto, wish I knew about Auto's before I grew my bag seed for the first grow. Good luck nothing like lighting up your first blunt you grew!

Question did you add perilite to your Coco? It did not look like it from your photos?

Thanks! Im definitely excited to try it out! Still a few more steps to go, but getting there.

I did not use perlite, straight coco. Advanced Nutrients said its unecessary if you use quality coco so I took a chance. Seems to be working and draining correctly. I also have some CaliMagic that I bought because of what I read about coco, but haven't even opened it yet.
