Is very little smell an issue?

I have 2 plants grown from bag seed (first grow) which are currently about a week into flowering and are looking healthy and happy but have very little smell. About half way throught the veg stage the smell was getting noticable but it faded away.
Is this unusual or something to be concerned about?
 
Ooh, bagseed! Best way to start growing weed.

Smell will go up and down. I have vegging plants that have a visible miasma of weed and one in late flower that doesn't smell unless I get real close nose. The type of smell will change. Moldy cheese. Moldy feet. If you get either of those, don't worry. Don't worry but check your plants for anything nefarious.

As dishonorary spokesman for the forum, we need bud porn. The pornier the better. Weed porn, too.
 
I have been told that I have become nose blind. I don't ever smell my stuff unless I'm in the same room with it, but everyone else tells me they can smell it from the driveway.

I to love me some bud porn 😜🌲😎

Dang @Gingerbeard...so I laughed out loud. Moldy feet? Who knows what that smells like? Just the thought makes me cringe. Ugh! and new words of the day.."dishonorary spokesman' and 'pornier'? Funny stuff!

OK, thanks for the reassurance. It was actually my wife that asked me why it didn't smell that made me ask the question. I just assumed I was used to it. :shock:

I don't think this pic is porny enough but it's all I've got right now.

After nine full weeks of flower...looking a little beat up but waiting on more amber...this is the porniest bud I have right at the moment ...

So mine is in flowering stage and no smell at all. AT ALL. It’s my 1st grow. Well, I like to think she’s a nice and polite lady, since the thricomes are coming fast.

'Semi-porn' is like saying 'sort of pregnant,' TheZenArcher. It either is, or it isn't. Yours is full on pornabinol.

Maybe this is a good opening for dialogue about what level's of pornabinol we're dealing with. Is seedling porn appropriate or do we flag it? When is a plant mature enough to be photographed? I have a window in my tent. If I look through it when the tent is closed and the light is off, am I a voyeur? Should we ban close-ups of male parts and pollen? Is there a category for when plants touch? Hermies? Mature? What about snuff pornabinol? I don't know a person in here who doesn't like showing their plants hung upside down to basically bleed out, chop off their heads, and cure them in jars.

Pornabinol: Is there anything in the 420th amendment that puts ethics to this dialog or should we rely only on our morals?
 
Gingerbeard, deep discussion indeed. I see potential for a Global Forum on these matters. And I'd like to try this weed you grow, it seems to cause really elaborated & comprehensive trips hehehe
