COCO COIR Is this plant root bound? Take a look a the photo

I think this plant is root bound but I would like some other opinions.

Edit; I have not done it, but I have read one can take a razor knife and make vertical cuts to trim the roots, then re-pot

I did that about 4 years ago- killed the plant.
Today, I would just "finger tip" massage the roots to loosen then up a bit and stimulate.

Use your hand squeeze the whole soil root system rough it up a little enough to break up the soil and roots.. then transplant. Will cause a little plant shock but should be ok.

Looks okay to me - although it probably didn't like being pulled out of her pot - roots of the cannabis plant grow during its entire life. So in that pot, after you harvest, the roots should look like the pics you are showing but a lot more roots wound up in the bottom.
Using fabric pots one doesn't get that problem - cuz the roots grow out of the fabric and circulating air prunes them off. I've never had root problems using fabric pots.

Agreed some plants can handle root cutting but I would just give the ball a couple gentle squeezes and repot.

I gave the root ball a light squeeze and transplanted it. to a 5 gallon fabric pot.

Just pull the roots that are wrapping around the bottom loose, you can break some but do it sort of gently, put it in a bigger pot (I prefer fabric grow bags), and keep growing, it looks great, your roots are healthy and happy and she'll be just fine.

Thanks I did just that I put her in a 5 gallon fabric pot.
