Is this nute burn?

1st dose of 4 week nutes this morning and got this burnt looking tip this afternoon. It's only one leaf but I'm afraid it's only the beginning. Should I flush it right away or wait to see if it gets worse?

Hmmm not 100% convinced it's nute burn. When I've burned mine all fingers had burned and it always affects newer growth first from my xp.

Either way, can you test your runoff ppm? That's going to be the best way to check. Make sure to subtract your input water's ppm.
 
Could very well be the start but without ph meter to check water In or out there is no way to eliminate the ph. As a cause it can't hurt air on the side of caution and flush.
 
I have the ph kit that tests by color on the bottle. I thought Nugs meant a meter that tests the nutrient levels. I always use 6.0ph and I was testing the runoff every time but it's been good for weeks so I stopped checking the runoff lately.

The plant looks great other than the one tip. I've been doing my first ever lst and removing more fan leaves like you told me Green. Most of the ones I have left are keeping my rubber bands(used what I had lying around) off of the new growth tips but I picked up some soft rubber coated plant ties today so I could stick them down in the soil instead of all the way out on the edge of the pot. It's a stretch when you have a small plant in a big pot and it wants to pull them out instead of down. I love the new ties tho they're perfect.

Is it just me or do some of those lower leaves look a tad droopy. Almost like overwatering or nute lock...but i may just be looking into it too much
 
Don't sweat it...I don't think it's nute burn either...

Usually..not always. Nute burn on tips will have a yellow tip outlined in black a bit...

That looks faded out brown..like it got damaged somehow
 
I actually have a whole other thread on that. They droop in the evenings about 4 hours before lights out no matter what I do. They've always done it and it's frustrating. Those two seem to like cooler temps and I can't get the cfls any closer than 4 inches away for sure or they droop way worse. They're just over 4 weeks old and have drooped most of that time. I've been meticulous about watering them right but I do think the light may have something to do with it. I love to see them stand at attention to! It stresses me out when they droop like that.
 
Don't sweat that burnt tip, I have one or two in my garden, no worries.

I wonder if the droop my be caused by stress. If you have the means, you might want to try some superthrive or a compost tea applied via foliar spray. Shot in the dark...
 
Those two plants have 4 40watt daylight bulbs on each one of them. They are pretty small too due to topping and removing all the big fan leaves so that's a lot of light I think? They're maybe 10 to 12 inches tall and probably 10 inches wide??? The temp I try to keep no higher than 78 but sometimes it gets up to 80 briefly and at night I keep it at 72-73. The humidity is 40 to 50 daytime and 55 to 65 at night.
