Ok Campesino .
I am running a 400 watt hps cool tube and I was keeping it about 18 inches above the plants but I have since moved it to 20. I also moved both plants farther from the center of the bulb. I have both plants in 5 gallon grow bags filled with cyco coco pearl (coco & perlite). My nutrients are General hydroponics flora trio just the base with no additives. I have followed Nebula's recipe exactly as far as strength at a pH of 6.0. I run plain water through every other feeding and it also is at a pH of 6.0. My runoff tests 6.0. I have ordered a TDS meter but it's not here yet so I have no idea the ppm. I don't have another picture without the light on, but perhaps I can take one tonight

Ya, tough to say, maybe.
Looks like some spots might have gotten a little warm, a few spots with some leaf curling.

Hi Rollx, I’m asking this only because it’s not mentioned do u have any fans going in grow space? How about exaust,or intake? Fill in the blanks please tent or closet what’s the lights on temp.and humidity? Just trying to make a correct diagnosis any cal mag added and what’s your light schedule? Lol

Hi Potted. Yes I have a fan blowing between the two grow bags. I have a desk fan mounted high in the corner of my 2×4×5 grow tent. I keep 3 vents open on the bottom of the grow tent. I have a 440 cfm exhaust fan that pulls the air out of the space. I keep the temps in the mid 70s during 'daytime' and mid 60's at night. My humidity ranges from 50-55% at all times. Before the plants were making pistols, the lights were on 24/0. They have been on 18/4 since. I have been feeding, allowing the medium to dry, and adding pHed water, allowing that to dry and it has been about 2 days between these. Should I be feeding nutrients daily?

I always give one big water per day. To saturation on days with nutes and to 20% run-off on CalMag days. Late in Flowering they increase water use and I will notice the very top of the coco gets dry by the end of the light cycle. When this happens I give them a supplemental watering before putting them to sleep (Usually just 1/2 as much as during their normal watering). My philosophy is to never let the top of my coco get dry. For most of the grow one watering per day suffices.
In terms of "Feeding", I recommend at least every third day/watering be without nutrients.

Here's an updated picture. It seems like they're a little better. My TDS meter came in so I have also been able to moniter the concentration of nutes in my water and runoff. Today, I had a higher ppm in my runoff so I leached some pH' d water thru until the runoff ppm was slightly lower than the nute water. Next feeding I'll go back to nutes, slowly adding and checking runoff until they are close.
