Is this foxtailing?

I opened my box to stick up my new light and check my last couple girls and I noticed one had some new growth that looked odd to me. Is this that foxtailing I read about? They were close to the light, maybe more so than I should probably. Is it and if so what should I do aside from raise the light?

It is and is caused by being to close to a light but can also be genetics keep an eye on the lower buds they might do it to. Nothing but moving the light can be done if that's what did it. The bud is still fine it will just look different I had a white widow I just harvested that about 40% of the buds did the same thing and some were way down on the bottom

How long after the heat will it happen?

I've been dealing with heat stress the entire grow but its summer in arizona and my box is in a garage without ac so theres only so much I can do about temps.

If it's still hot in there, it may not stop foxtailing. I have the same thing going on right now. Fixed the heat issue but I think it did it's damage already. Did it to some of my last crop too. Buds were still good, just needed extra time to mature.
