Is there a "go to" magnification in a loupe?

I'm nearly finishing a CBD auto and trying to determine ripeness. With a larger plant my trusty magnifying glass got me close enough. But this little 23.5" plant is real hard to get a peek into. So I'm guessing the next purchase is a loupe but what magnification? Not ready for the electron microscopes some of you are using these days. Anyway, a few poor pics for posterity. Got light burn that has been fixed.

I use a 100x pocket scope. Not electronic(except the light on the end to shine on your subject matter). It was under $20 to have it delivered to my doorstep.
