Is the lighting 12/12 or 18/4 during flowering?

It depends if it is a photoperiod or an autoflowering. Regular photoperiod strains need 12/12 during flowering. Auto strains can have anywhere from 24/0 to 18/6 during flowering. They can be put under 12/12 also if you have a mix of the two different varieties, but more light is optimal for autos.

I have a question about Autoflowering. Do you keep them under the vegging light or the flowering light ?

Thank you for your answer ~ I was automatically spent

You would keep it under the vegging light, keeping it the same schedule with the most light- 18/6-20/4-24/0
Autoflowers can be under ANY light combination-

King, I haven't grown autos, though I plan to. I assume you put them under veg bulbs (I use T5s) for the first two or three weeks, and then switch to your bloom lighting. That's my plan anyhow. We have LEDs with the whole color spectrum for bloom. The T5s are 6400k.

That is something to take in consideration. As you can see by my sig. there is quite a bit of difference between the wattage. I would assume that using my HPS light would greatly increase the yield vs. T5, but at a cost of electricity used. Since I know nothing of autoflower, I'm just guessing here. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I think, though I'd have to go back and check, Greenie does his auto under the same bright light entire grow. DON'T QUOTE ME ON THAT!!

This sounds accurate to me. I think I'll keep them under my 600w the whole time whenever I do autos... maybe this is overkill when they're young. Maybe veg light for the first few weeks.

Almost sounds like you're going to run some autos king?

Actually I'm in the middle of my Black Jack right now. Maybe 3 more weeks before harvest. Then I need to finish my G13 Haze, which are in the 4th week of vegging. After they are harvested I will be taking a break. Because I will have my yearly supply. Probly won't start another grow 'till sometime in October.

Mild, if you're asking about CFL lighting, the daylight bulbs (5000 to 6500 K) have worked great for my auto's vegetative days, and then I switch to soft white (2700 K) bulbs when flowering commences. 🌼

I'd like to make a suggestion if you don't mind....in my experience auto are very quick and love to grow...having lights on 24 hrs. during veg is the best for photos and autos...plants don't sleep...don't happen...with autos you are losing precious time of growth and root build up when lights are off...autos will flower either way...

More light= more growth...always

So of you are not worried about power bill...leave light on all times during veg. with photos or growing autos...you will be much happier....#guaranteed
