I tried 5 gal grow bags a less expensive opulent generic for the first time. (not first grow) I'm using a fox farm medium ocean forest/happy frog and a LOAM top soil filler, there is nothing else I can do for this grow but loosen ioty up with a chopstick. but the next grow I plan on using more perlite (I already added a lot) i read that coarse #4 perlite will help with settling either way after I add peat moss (ph issues)and more perlite. now what about the bags is one bag better? never had this issue with plastic but the bags im using are flimsy ( I had issues when I LST) , is there a better bag?
