Is it time to start the Bloom newts?

As some of you may know, I am on my first grow. My question today is simple. Looking at this photo, would you say it may be time to start the Bloom type newts. yet???. Plant seems well established and has some flower sights. I was planning on adding some Bloom stuff on the 3d of November for the first time. during my next res. change. Bottle I intend to use has the numbers 2-8-4 on it. I thought 50% of label dose on the 2-8-4 stuff?.

I will take your word on it! tomorrow I will add 1 gal. of Bloom mix at 50% along with my with my daily watering. Then at res. change, I will change out all in res. for full feed at 50% including the Bloom.
 
I figure give them a taste of the future!. Besides, I am only adding one gal. of the bloom/water mix at this time ONLY. Once mixed in the res. I bet it thins out a tad we will see. I did notice one thing though.... The PH in the mixed gal. went way low after mixing. This required PH up in large amounts to get PH within standard range 5.5-6.5. I wonder why the PH was so affected?

Why would you say that just asking?. Anyway I decided to pump out 1 gal. water from the res. I then added the 1 gal PHed water/ bloom pre mix in its place. Observing any affects over the next several hours. I expect the remaining water in the res. thinned out the Bloom Newt mix even more. I am not too worried about damage. The way I understand it, a DWC will show burn or over feeding fast!.

Remember the height ratio for the tent mine in hydro is 12 in. tops so colas don't hit my light....when I went 15 inches I hit the light LOL
 
I still have 4 and a half feet of over space remaining ( 48 inches at this point in my grow ) . That is with the light at highest point. Tent is 7 feet tall with no light. These are Autos they are said to stay rather short. I do have the 1 foot extension provided by Gorilla if needed (its still in the box).

I said that because it looks like there are buds on it already and i start feeding bloom nutes as soon as i go 12/12 to give them a kick start.
 
I see... This light is on 23 hours a day. I guess light time is different for a Auto huh?. As you may have noticed I "kick started" the Bloom just a taste for the girls. two days all new newts.
 
Yes of course for autos i do 24/0 light. No rest time. They dont seem to mind it. I figure more light for more time = more plant.
Some people say they need time to rest so the roots can grow,, but ive not seen a difference when on 18/6 or 20/4 except smaller plants.lol
 
It is day 52 of a 80 day grow. With luck Christmas will be nice!. My Volcano Digit will get a work out for sure!!.I picked up the 15 foot bags made to look like a joint for my vaporizer!.

If you look at the Vegetative, Transition, and Flowering ratios on most cannabis nutrient schedules, there is a 2 week "transition" phase that is usually a ramped up version of vegetative nutrients. I think it's because the plant has such intense vegetative growth during the first few weeks after the switch to 12/12 that it needs the extra nitrogen :) So I agree, 2 weeks after the switch is a great time to start bloom nutrients!
