Is it okay to start new grow outdoors in late summer

As title says. Will plant grow and produce atleast few grams if she is potted now. While my first plant is flowering. Just curiousity
 
I have young plants out now, they will finish small but they will finish. If you wait to long you may need lights etc to finish (as I did last year), kinda depends on where you are on the planet..
 
Is your seed or plant a photo or auto? I don't know much about Croatia other than it is unbelievably beautiful. If it's an auto as long as you don't have extreme temperatures it'd be fine. If it's photo it's going to lollipop as soon as it gets shorter days.
