Is it ok to add more soil in flowering stage

My ? is I'm in the flowering stage and from watering I've lost souls dropped at least 2 in is it okay to more soil?
I'm using Mother Earth potting soil

I add a few cups every couple weeks during flower. They seen to perk up a bit when I do.
