is it any harder to transplant from a fabric pot vs plastic/other pots?

The roots do get stuck in the sides, but it is not a transplant problem. They just release when you fold the pot down.

ok so its easy to loosen them off the sides just like squeezing a plastic one?

Someone posted fabric pots with velcro sides to make transplanting easier on one of their grows... I can't remember who it was though. Google em 😉

Maybe me - Geopots have a Velcro release - also have handles.
