Hello, I'm wondering if using CO2 is of much benefit in a grow room that is 18cubic metres. It has 6 inch intake fan from fresh outside and 6 inch extraction fan. I use a spider farmer se 7000 LED (700watts) and usually only grow 2-4 plants at a time. ?
Unless you can seal the grow room and circulate it I would say it's overkill for 2-4 plants. It will definitely make a difference in plant growth if done properly. This is done alot in the commercial side of cannabis industry. Don't fall for the cheap Amazon plastic bottle crap you will be disappointed. Get a real CO2 system and see the difference. It also a little dangerous, lol. PAZ
But there is enough in the air to keep your plants more than happy. You need it at the roots too.
That's a good light. Focus on maintaining an ideal environment. If your environment is ideal you will get most benefit.
Using elevated CO² levels requires higher temps and more light than what you have to get benefits so overall the cost is not just the CO² bottles for little benefit....some quote 20% higher yields but 5 to 10% is probably more accurate .
I have all the gear and a sealed room with climate control but don't use it as its not worth it and my yields are quite high without it.
Ok cool thanks for the feedback guys, I can forget about that idea. And not worry about passing out when I'm in the room ha.
Yea I was reading %30 extra yield 😳 and thought maybe it's worth a shot but nah.
