HELP! Is a 2x2 tent that much better than a 3x3 tent?

Still deciding on what tent to purchase. I know that bigger is better but how better really a 3x3 tent is in comparison to a 2x2 tent?

Reason I ask is because a 2x2 tent would fit so much better here in my house, so unless it's a terrible idea to go with the smaller size purchasing a 2x2 would be good.

I'll be using a 250w hps on either tent.
both tents are 63" tall.

Want to grow 3 plants at max... Can grow two if it's more efficient.

Grow two in the 3x3 ! Heh heh heh. 2x2 is fine though for a couple of plants

I have trouble fitting 3 in my 4 x 4...... depends on your style, type and method I guess

Hey theblues88,
you should put what fits best in the space you have, for the purpose you need, with in reason.
1) what is your need? And how long to replenish?
2) wattage to sq.ft. so the basic range depending on the light source, 50 to 100 watts per square foot seems to be the common ways round these parts between multiple GWE members( 2x2=4sq.ft x 50ish watts per sqft ='s 200ish watts minimum) 2x2 is the most effective footprint for your light.
3) grams per watt! No matter the sq, or the number of plants you will only yield so many grams to watts.
4) Are you going to be wishing later you went bigger because you could have and now you need to? Or is the grow going to fix your needs.

hey Blues if your 2x2 is what fits then thats what you use , you could easily get 4 autos in 3 gallon pots ,if you haven't done the nute thing ,I would try Kind soil then all you will have to worry about is watering them and lights . If I had a space limit this is what I would do . I am currently growing Autos in a separate , I started them Sept 10th or so and I've harvested 1 and have two more to do this week then as you harvest one you put a new one in its place ,I manifold my autos as well easy to do
