Introduction

Hi all!

I just thought that since I started growing a new seedling I'd share the progress. The strain is called White Fire Widow OG

The first picture is the label on the bag I bought, which has the lineage. Does anybody know why the father of the seeds has ancestry listed, but not the female? Is it some kind of dominant gene thing?

The second picture is the start of germination. I used the old "wet paper towel in a zip lock baggie" starter method. 2/18/18

Next up is planting day. I was super surprised it sprouted so quickly. Not much to see, but I really dig those LED's and the way my room lights up in the basement with them. 2/21/18

The fourth picture is the seed sprouting up and raring to go. 2/25/18

The last picture is just a progress check. measuring in at 2 and 7/8 inches. Just 11 days old! 3/2/18

Good morning FarrahMoan isn't such a great feeling when the little ones pop out and start a journey that you control at this point I would just give them about 1/2 to 1 cup of water each not to much or the roots will rot .Water like this for a couple of weeks . I mix a weak nutrient solution of 1/2 strength voodoo juice for root stimulation and grow .unless you are growing in soil then its straight water

What LED are you using and how far away from the plant is it? Looks like it might be stretching for light.
Looks like the father was a hybrid and the mother was a stable line White Widow. Should be fun to grow and smoke!

Yes it's an amazing feeling. I am growing soil, so no fertilizers yet. Personally I'm a big fan of the products from Dyna-Gro when they get older.

The LED is from Lightimetunnel, its one of their smaller 45w (actual watts) models. the height is at 30" which is at the far end of their recommendations, but I have regular houseplants under another model ( they are super cheap) at this distance and they do just great. It might stretch out a little bit more, but I know from experience with other plants under this light that closer than 18" will burn'em to a crisp. I just adjust them to between 2 and 3 feet every so often, since I have other plants.
