Inline fan outside the tent

Hey guys I have little time tonight, but my filter and fan arrived. I strapped the carbon filter inside the tent. Can I connect the ducting to the inline fan OUTSIDE the then? So my filter would be inside and fan outside with the ducting connecting it

You want an unbroken length of duct from the filter to the fan with a tight fit. So if you ran ducting from the filter - secured with a 4" clamp, through the port and onto the end of the fan and clamped it with a 2nd 4" clamp, should work!
