They have bug socks for a passive intake probably just as much as a fabric pot. Or you can get a piece of filter and cut it to fit maybe a couple bucks cheaper plus you can use the other piece for another intake or to keep the dust off your light and from clogging up your fan with dust. I don't have the need to eliminate scent.

no they are inside the bloom room ,the difference between hanging them on the bungee cord and attaching them directly to ceiling is night and day you wont even hear it unless you are close to it save yourself some money and figure a way to hang it this way 3 bucks instead of what ever the muffler costs your choice good luck

oldjarhead100 so are you wrapping the bungee around the mounting bracket? I actually went to the hardware store yesterday and got some rubber washers was going to put those between the fan and the rafter. My wife is tired of our vibrating dining room floor, who’d have thought.

I ended up just zip tying the fan to the bungee cord or tarp cord I think is what those heavy black ones are called. Turned speed controller to max and no vibration above. Yay!
