Well I mean not do that but keep the conversation going. This has been a good place to share thoughts and opinions and data; sometimes rant as well. Why stop now? We're in this together. *I see that filter in snapchat very often now*
 
More "fake news"? Facts are facts, and they sometimes get in the way of narcissistic hopes, and dreams.

Wyoming is the only state without a recorded death from the virus.


More than 22,000 people have died of the virus in the United States, but Wyoming has not recorded one fatality, according to a New York Times database.

At least 270 people have tested positive for the virus in the state, mostly around its largest cities, and Gov. Mark Gordon has imposed a series of restrictions, including closures of public schools and bans on gatherings of 10 or more people, that will stay in effect until at least April 30.

The virus has likely infected more people, but testing issues have almost certainly kept the authorities and the public from understanding the full scope of the virus’s spread in Wyoming. The state health officer acknowledged this month that necessary materials were in “very short supply.”
 
Population density of Manhattan:
66,940 people per square mile.

Population density of Wyoming:
6 people per square mile.
 
Mr.furley Of course that's true, but the main reason is that there are no major travel hubs in Wyoming. corona virus is without question a jet setter! A study has shown that the northeast's massive infection rate was due to European travelers, and not China.
 
You mean the people who fked up badly in Feb. and early March? Yeah, it's fked when the ones at the top are in denial about reality.
 
One good thing: it looks like people across the nation are doing the social distance/isolation thing. This is very good. Now, it's a waiting game for at least another 8 weeks or so. It's still hard to believe it's actually happening, but at the same time it isn't surprising. It was anticipated.
 
I agree with that timeline. Most people don’t quite understand that.
Actually, I read there were a few places out there in the middle of nowhere USA that still have not implemented social distancing yet.
Hopefully my news is out of date now and that has changed... but some people...well let’s just say I wouldn’t put it past some quite yet.
 
Daas I think this is going to be a do as you please year about growing they will have far to much to worry about before they start thinking about weed
 
Realize that the character of people also has something to do with the success of the “social distancing” thing. Introverts like myself find it fairly easy to just say hello on a phone or video chat occasionally. Extroverts on the other hand get a bit nutty trying to be inside isolating themselves from the most active portions of their day...

Farmall I was thinking the same thing. I've been so happy about just being able to be at home, work a lot in my garden, communicate with my students online and NOT have to go to fucking meetings!!!! I probably like being alone too much.

Try being stuck in the boardroom with the chancellor during budget calls...…….. I retired to run from that crap
 
The boredom and bad news etc gets to almost everyone.
I have turned off the TV and radio etc. except for music when called for and continued with projects until I can return to work.
Wife, dog and I go on wilderness hikes at least twice a week. Yes, even through the heavy wet snow. Life seems more normal that way.
Hope everyone is finding ways to cope.
Do your worst covid. We ain't going away easy.
 
My woods grow partner and I went to check a new location out , we met their then stayed ten feet apart while walking ,it was a great spot until we found a camp fire pit lol
I was born in Maine and the town we lived in was Blanchard . It had a population of 35 , there were 5 or 6 houses right in the middle of town then at least a half mile between houses , I think it would come to around .25 people per mile I don't think social distancing is needed in towns like that
